Two Weeks In Australia - Different Version...

Hi all,

An Australian friend of mine recently mentioned that a TV show called Nomad showed a different version of Two Weeks... just the once, shortly before the VHS cam out back in the day. He remembers it featuring different footage of stuff like The Plunderers.

Does anyone else remember this, or better still have a copy?! Would love to see it!

Loads of copies must be knocking about. Since our recent move they’re probably easier to come by than the source files we used!

Wherever I’ve got the files (probably about three PCs ago now), I think they’re all encoded as a massive file burnable to DVD, with everything on it.

Can’t remember who sent on the original recording but it really adds to Two Weeks substantially, so it’s well worth having.

It’s almost certainly buried in either the loft or the one room of our new place that isn’t yet unpacked. If it turns up I’ll bump the thread!

Am getting closer - have found some disks that I think are something to do with it, but they’re labelled “Nero versions”, so I’d almost certainly need to dig out an old PC that has Nero on it to find out

There’s several boxes still to go through that for various reasons I won’t be able to get to for another couple of weeks. Once it emerges (and it’s definitely somewhere in this house, either on DVD or hard drive) I’ll update you!

Oh wow, I would really love that too, I have watched the "original" version of thes film so many times I still know it pretty much by heart... ;-)
