this song has alot of different chord positions but they are all similar and easy to play.  I have put a chord reference at the end for each part of the song.  look at this first and play each part by itself and you may learn it quicker.  anyway...

Ryan Adams
Cannonball Days
Gold

capo 4

standard tune

Gsus- 320013

Intro- G, Gsus, G, Gsus

[G]Whats come to [Gs] stay from your [G]cannonball days[Gs],
but a[D] house and some[C] clothes on the line[G].
[G]Fire the wave[Gs] of your [G]drunken brigade[Gs],
The [D]streets of new[C] york as a child[G].

(All verses - same chords)

Woman so fine, fine as a girl,
slow like an italian wine,
Hair all a mess, and a dress off the shelf,
And all of your roses've died. [G] [Gs] [G] [Gs]

[Em]Better luck in the [Am]next life,
Cause [C]your gonna need it[D] dear.
[G]Loved you back [Gs]then, but I [G]couldn't say when[Gs],
[D]All of your [C]roses have died[G].
[D]All of your [C]roses have died[G].

I tasted your lips, put my hands on your hips,
Danced in a park late at night,
Your cats on the sill, and my head to your breast,
feeding your rhythms devine.

The worlds just a queen with a rattle machine,
Tasted the salt through your skin,
loved you back then, but I couldn't say when,
All of your roses have died.

Better luck in the next life,
Give them some hell and goodbye.
Loved you back then, but I couldn't say when,
All of your roses have died.
All of your roses have died.

(Hammond B-3 Solo)

Bask in the street, down on Christopher St,
bought you a rose from a bum,
Left you a note, that was stuffed in your coat,
Laughed and you said it was done.

Broke like a stem, and I guess you're with him,
I'm sure that he treats you just fine.
So bottoms up cheers baby heres to your tears,
All of your roses have died.

Better luck in the next life,
I'll miss you but go on goodbye.
I Feel like a straight from his cannonball days,
When all of your roses were mine.
When all of your roses have mine.
When all of your roses have mine.

Dinosaur Jr -- Back To Your Hear

Here is a rough sketch.   I'm not good at this...

Chords (incorrectly named I'm sure)..
G 355433
Bm 224432
F 133211
E 022000
C 030210
Am x02210

and now that little riff....
   Do this 3 times....

hit this hard....    E 022xxx    and while holding that chord and letting it ring....
                  do this 3 times.....   xx200x
                  do this 3 times....    xxx010
                  do this 3 times...     xxx000

and then an open G to Am

(probably some errors on these lyrics...found 5 different versions on the internet)

breathe your air, cut my teeth
bones of a hypocrite that look like me
ashes stain, the windowsill
punk rock dreams that had died like hope

feed your family, lose your mind
think about the valley from time to time
These three things have never been
happy that we left but i would leave again for you

back to your heart

you are the only one
sharing some, I'll wait for you
breathe your air attend to me
tell me what you want
and I will try to be
everywhere, all the time
think about the future let the past unwind
cause you are the shining sun
the sun will come and leave again for you
"I wanna see it when you get stoned on a cloudy desert breezy afternoon"

Theyll Never Take Her Love From Me - Hank Williams

[G] If today the sun should set on all my [C] hopes and cares
There is [D] one whose smiling face the gods would [G] see
'Cause she'll walk along beside me up the [C] golden stairs
Oh, they'll [D] never never take her love from [G] me.
What a [C] fool I was to go and break the trust she [G]gave
And see her love turn into sympa [D] thy
It's the [G] one regret I'll carry with me [C] to my grave
Oh, they'll [D] never never take her love from [G] me.

(Bridge chords)
C G D G C D G

I'm so thankful for each golden hour of happiness
That we shared together in the used to be
Someone else's arms may hold her now in fond caress
But they'll never never take her love from me.

I thought I'd make her happy if I'd step aside
But I knew her love would never set me free
And even on the morning she became another's bride
I said they'll never never take her love from me.

I felt envy and wanted play along so for the last 3 hours I worked with Hayden's Bad As They Seem

<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/scEIC5bG1Yk&hl=en_US&fs=1&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/scEIC5bG1Yk&hl=en_US&fs=1&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>

I don't like having to do speshul tunings so I came up with

Capo 3rd
Am F C
Girl of my dreams
Things are as bad as they seem
She's only sixteen
Thats why she's only a dream

Woman of my dreams
Lives right down my street
Has a daughter who's sixteen
Thats why she's only a dream
F G (Chorus)
What do I do this for
've got to get out some more
Go down to the grocery store
Meet someone i'll adore
Someone who'll make me laugh
Someone to be my better half
Keep me warm under the sack
Share with me my midnight snack ( I say midnight sad, just because I do things like that)

Am F C
Child of my dreams
Things are as bad as they seem
Working where I did at fourteen
making less pay it seems
*chorus*
Am F C
House of my dreams
Things are as bad as they seem
Parents house i'll stay for free
Till I'm at least 43

<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4uch5E_9k-0&hl=en_US&fs=1&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4uch5E_9k-0&hl=en_US&fs=1&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>

Embedding hasn't work yet when I tried , I think the Admins are out to get me .....
and embedding fails me again

E B C#m A
Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world
E B G#m A
She took the midnight train going anywhere

E B C#m A
Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit
E B G#m A
He took the midnight train going anywhere

E B C#m A
A singer in a smoky room, a smell of wine and cheap perfume
E B G#m A
For a smile they can share the night, it goes on and on and on and on

A E
Strangers waiting up and down the boulevard
A E
Their shadows searching in the night
A E
Streetlight, people, living just to find emotion
A E
Hiding, somewhere in the night

E B C#m A
Working hard to get my fill, everybody wants a thrill
E B G#m A
Paying anything to roll the dice, just one more time

E B C#m A
Some will win, some will lose, some were born to sing the blues
E B G#m A
Oh, the movie never ends; it goes on and on and on and on

A E
Strangers waiting up and down the boulevard
A E
Their shadows searching in the night
A E
Streetlight, people, living just to find emotion
A E
Hiding, somewhere in the night

E B C#m A #
Don't stop believing hold on to the feeling
E B G#m
Streetlight people

E B C#m A #
Don't stop believing hold on to the feeling
E B G#m
Streetlight people

E B C#m A #
Don't stop believing hold on to the feeling
E B G#m
Streetlight people

This is my kareoke song
No offence Smudge, but I'd rather listen to it whilst I join Charlize Theron & Christina Ricci outside the skating rink ;) ;)
..Aparently, you can tell a lot about someone's personality from what they're like.
